Pimp the type
A few years ago a new aesthetic movement rose up to encourage customizing everything. It started with cars (adding pieces, turbos, spoilers, chrome paint...) and later this movement was applied to computers, decorating them in all sorts of imaginary worlds, such as videogames.
Now, the time has come to pimp the "unpimpable" Letterforms, words, phrases... can be personalized, not only for their meaning but also for their appearances.
PIMP THE TYPE presents a collection of posters designed by a variety of specialised professionals related to typography who have decided to morph the typographic message applying effects, shape modifications, movement, and finally trying to present a different way of seeing and understanding typefaces.
