Trading magic for facts

During my short existance on this planet, I have obviously been a kid or a teenager most of the time. Now that I´m a grown up, I would like to believe that imagination and curiosity are still with me. My mom always tells me she is amazed of all the things I can remember from my childhood. Not only do I remember the usual anecdotes of setting stuff on fire and eating sand, but also how you would be playing your way through the days, wanting to build your own little universe.
The following works, are a celebration of childhood and the art of growing up without loosing the admiration for the little things in life. With this exhibition, I propose a trip to an imaginary blue space, that takes us through the 80´s, the means of transportation, The Fibonacci Code, fun and games, discovery of mortality, and ideas to remind us to dream of better places. Places where you can close your eyes, and for a second live in the moment as if it was the only reality,without worrying about the future and all the things that will go wrong.
